DR. FRANCELIS IVETTE GONZALEZ RECEIVES SEVERAL AWARDS RECOGNIZING HER HUMANITARIAN AND ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT

Orlando, Fl - Dr. Francelis Gonzalez, CEO of Kidsville Pediatrics Clinics in Central Florida, and recipient of the Patient's Choice Award in 2011 and 2012 recently was recognized in a number of local organizations for her success and accomplishments as a business entrepreneur, as well as for her devoted commitment to the people of her community. The Patient's Choice Award directly represents the opinion of the beneficiaries of a doctor's care. The honor is bestowed on physicians and dentists who have received near perfect scores, as voted by their patients.

Last year, Dr. Gonzalez was recognized as the Florida recipient of the Anna Maria Arias Award for 2011 presented by Latina Style Magazine, marking her success as a business owner. Continuing in that line, in April of this year, Dr. Gonzalez was selected as a finalist in the Women who Mean Business Awards presented by the Orlando Business Journal (category: Business Owner of the Year) and which recognizes professional women for their business as well as personal accomplishments and community service.

Later in the year, Dr. Gonzalez was awarded the Women of Distinction Award in the Leadership category presented by the Girls Scouts of Citrus Council, celebrating women who have inspired with their courage, confidence and character. The event, celebrated in September, is widely recognized as one of Central Florida's most prestigious awards for women.

Finally, in late September, Dr. Gonzalez received the 2012 Rafael Carrion Pacheco Professional of the Year Award presented by the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida. Inspired by the beloved story of Puerto Rican author Abelardo Diaz Alfaro, El Josco (an ox and main character of the story) represents the tenacity and determination of those who face and overcome challenges and adversity.
